Tour 12: New Forest & Bournemouth

When William The Conqueror saw the forest in 1079, he ruled that it should become the royals’ hunting ground. Nowadays everyone can visit the area, there is probably more woodland now then in William’s time. As we drive through the Forest on our way to Bournemouth you will see ponies and cattle grazing; you may see Fallow deer browsing under the canopies of the mighty oak trees. Optional stop for mid-morning tea, early lunch, or, perhaps, some horse riding.
