Tour 11: Stonehenge & Salisbury

Stonehenge - 5000 years of history in these ancient stone circles. The Oldest Monument in Europe, it is still not known whether it was an Astronomical calendar, or used as a Temple. Each circle offers a different experience. Scholars have squabbled over the stones’ meaning. After your visit to the stones we continue your tour and drive to Salisbury here you can visit Salisbury Cathedral; it has the tallest spire in England at 404 feet, and a unique 13th century frieze of bible stories. Explore the medieval town, home of the original Magna Carta.
